We decorated the front porch last night and we have a small herd of deer in the front yard as well. Kinda look like Patronus's when you take a picture. Love them!

Spoiled.... Just a little...

Good Morning!

It is officially Christmas Break.

The last week of school was thankfully fast and furious. Christmas programs, parties, and lots of fun.

I was very much spoiled by my co-workers and some of the students.

I love love love my job. 

When I decided to go back to work, it was a very bittersweet decision. And the first year was hard. I was lucky to be in the same building with my kids, but, while I was able to be there for my Middle schooler (now High School), my baby in 3rd (now 4th) suffered a little. I was not able to go on as many field trips or help in the classroom as much.

But looking at her now, she is more independent and confident in herself, as well a growing up too fast, but we will talk about that another time.

But when I talk to them, they are so happy I am there and there are many more opportunities for the future. 

Plus, I feel like I found me again.

Been overwhelmed by the season. Decorating is always desired clutter, but clutter non the less and stresses me out. I love it but look forward to when it gets put away. Hard in a small space.

I took a little break in November. Life was flying by and life was happening. We are back to school after a great week off at Thanksgiving, and now we are counting the days until Christmas break. I promise to post more in the future.

Peppermint Bark...YUM!

Good Morning!

Busy day here. Off to the school for a PTA meeting. 

Had to post my yummy, favorite Christmas goodie. 

I love peppermint bark. 

It is so easy. And pretty much just chocolate topped with peppermint, but I couldn't have Christmas without it. 

Its super easy.

Line a cookie sheet with wax paper. 

Melt two bags of semi sweet chocolate chips in microwave, 

spread on sheet. 

Refrigerate until hard.

Melt white chocolate (2 bags), 

spread on hardened dark chocoate, 

sprinkle with peppermint pieces, 

refrigerate until hard.

Break into pieces and store in tin or jar, in refrigerator for best results.

YUM!

The Wooden Soldier...

Good Morning...

Happy Thursday!

Yes I know its Fall, and don't get me wrong, I LOVE it. 

But yesterday I started working on Christmas cards, which led to thinking which picture I would use in the card, which led to thoughts of taking a great picture, which of course led to the outfits. 

I am debating using fun camo hoodies for both my girls. Casual and Fall fun. 

...but....

then I think I should go all out and have them be fabulous. 

I will probably do both, because that is just me.

I love love love The Wooden Soldier and their holiday looks.
