Thinking of you

As I sit here looking back at my blog, I am overwhelmed by the magic that was those 10 years. Filled with love and friendships that are gone now. I hope one day they can be restored, but till then, I will look back with happiness. Let this season be one of remembrance and thoughtfulness for those you hold dear.

Hello! Itś been a while since I posted on here. Alot has changed in the last few years. I had to take a break. I finally think I can breath again. Hopefully I can keep up! Either way, Happy Happy First day of Winter.

Snowy one here. Getting stuff done around the house and on the computer. I am perfectly happy to sit, drink coffee and be warm.

Turkey Day Decorations

Happy Monday!

I am recovering from a busy weekend of playing catch up. Catch up  for laundry, cleaning kids rooms, etc. Now to settle in, and enjoy being inside. It looks like snow outside. As for my Scentsy Turkey.

This is my only Thanksgiving decoration. I try and take a break with heavy decorations between Halloween and Christmas. Bit of a breather. Ha ha. I found some wonderful new wax melts at Wal-Mart this weekend. I am very anxious to start my pine and winter scents.

Well Hello Winter....

Well it looks like Winter is finally making an appearance. And it looks like its planning on staying for a while. I actually dont mind. Spring was coming too soon.

Hello, Happy Monday. 

I am crazy happy. Its not because of the snow, I could have done without that. But because I dont have to drive in it. 

SNOW DAY!!!!

I have to say, where we lived before, we got feet of snow, sub zero temps, rediculous blizzards and snowed in passes...

and we still went to school. 

Not here!!!

I get a quiet morning, kids sleeping in, snow falling and crocpot crocking with Chicken tortilla soup, well my version of it anyway.

YUM!

Now for some coffee, cinnamon rolls and fixer upper

The only way this could get better would be scrapbooking with my best friend.

Hello Monday!

Kids back to school. Sitting on the couch with coffee and catching up with my dvr shows. 

I actually love Mondays....

and I am actually enjoying all the snow we have gotten lately. It really feels like a blanket all around us. For a moment, I am going to enjoy the stillness.

Let it Snow...

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Things have been busy. Lots going on. I have to admit I have been troubled by the evils going on in our world. I have been glued to the TV, tears running down my face. Trying to make sense of everything. Holding my babies close and wishing I could make things better for those who can't.  I am pretty involved at school and in my little way I have tried to be there as much as I can. I don't know if it helps, but it helps me. My heart goes out to those in pain right now. 

As for other news, we are finally getting snow. And we got it in a big way. 2 foot drifts. Fun. 

I am looking forward to the end of the week. We will be on break and not going anywhere. We will dig in and happily settle in for Christmas.

White as Snow...

Happy Sunday. Just  a quick post before the hustle today. Now that Thanksgiving is over, and for the most part, Christmas shopping is done... yes I said done. : )

I feel like I can start getting into my decorating. However, my kiddos are doing everything possible to wreck the house. So decorating may wait until they are in school tomorrow. I think I will take today to finish up my Craft Fair preparations... (it is next Saturday...eek!!!). 

I need to take some time to think about my decor. Every year I vow to simplify, and then every year I go crazy. Deck every hall and adorn every surface. 

So a day of contemplation may be a good idea. 

Right now I am loving everything white and wishing for snow. A white Christmas is right on top of my list this year.
