It is a crazy year for sure and we are seeing things that I never thought we would in your lifetime.

Today I am a mom of a teenager. Where did all the years go. My baby has grown into an  amazing young lady. Talented, kind, thoughtful. I couldn't ask for anything more. 

Sorry there haven't been many posts. Been working and living. But Summer is coming, and there is so much to talk about.

11 Year Olds Birthday Celebration...

Good morning, happy Friday! A week ago we celebrated my oldest daughters 11th birthday.

I admit it was an emotional day for me watching time pass by so fast, wishing it would just slow down a little...
All while still revelling in the amazing person she is becoming. I love having conversations with her, hearing her amazing opinions on what she sees going on in her world. I am so blessed to be part of it.

Birthday Goodies...

We are in packing mode, but I had to take a moment to post about my birthday goodies. I am late posting since we have been soo busy, but I needed to recognize my best friend for the fabulous goodies. The flowers were wonderful and her beautiful daughter made me the best card.

Big Girls 10th Birthday Party!!!

Hello!

Happy Monday!

We had an awesome weekend. It kicked off with Bingo for the local Preschool on Friday Night. Both girls were extra lucky. Then a Volleyball game for my oldest daughter, who got the great pleasure of playing with her best friend. Then my parent came into town and along with family here, had a fun fun birthday party. She was very spoiled.

Then we spent Sunday shopping. The only downside is she finally got Daddy to agree to ear piercing and we were unable to make that happen. 

But we will in a week or so.

It was a great weekend.

The Renaissance Festival and a Happy 39th Birthday to me!

Hello, happy Monday!  We had such a fun weekend. I loved it. My Birthday was on Friday and we spent the weekend with cake, garage saleing, and ended it with a day at the Renaissance festival. It was soooo much fun. It was made even greater with the addition of our very good friends. The girls had a blast and my hubby even seemed to enjoy it. I am so glad we could experience it together.

Skating Party Ideas...

Sorry for the lack of posts. My thoughts and time have been consumed with daily household chores and trying to plan an upcomming birthday party. We have been trying to play outside more and have been gone most of the weekends. That leaves me a small window during the week to catch up with everyday household while I juggle school, kids, holidays and volunteering. Needless to say my thoughts right now are all on a skating party. I am so excited, probably more than my 8 year old. Oh well.

Lalaloopsy Cake...

Here is my attempt at a Lalaloopsy cake. Baby girl was obsessed with a princess cake at the store, but wanted lalaloopsy. So I improvised. I think it turned out pretty cute.
