I know its the 15th but I have been working alot the last few weeks. Good for my wallet. Its nice having a little discretionary income.

But lots of stuff is falling through the cracks. Glad we have a 4 day weekend coming up to catch up.

Subtle Valentine Touches

Hello, Happy Friday!

Busy busy day ahead. 

Volunteering at school, but I was able to work through my migraine yesterday and do a little decorating. 

I love my new hanging vase. Not happy about the eyesore of the temperature controller, but I am learning to not see it. Ha ha. 

Just a few little subtle Valentine additions.

I am determined to start setting money aside towards new house stuff, so I am not buying any new decorations. Gonna make due with what we have and get creative. It really helps that I indulged last year during the clearance sales. Ha ha.

Saturday Valentine Inspiration...

Happy Saturday!

Finally a sunny day. Yesterday was a cloudy snowy one. It didnt even put much down. I have to admit, I am over it. I am ready for sun and dry ground. Tired of doing the shuffle while walking so that I dont slip. My worst fear by the way. 

Cant be out of commission with my 2 kids and our busy schedule. 

This last week my daughter decided to stop doing cheer. I have to admit, when we signed up, we thought it would be for one season. It is however for the whole year. Too much of one thing. There are other things she wants to try before officially going into Middle school next year. 

So spring time will bring Knowledge bowl and Drama Club. It should be exciting. 

Yesterday we did some fun Valentines decorating. Our usual decorations are buried in storage, and I am not digging them out. Time for some new stuff. Here are some great ideas from Pinterest.

Valentine Catch Up

Happy Wednesday!

I know its been almost two weeks since Valentines day, but I couldnt resist posting about our fun Valentines. 

My girls had a blast. My youngest filled fun bags of goodies, and my oldest did water bottle valentines with a koolade drink pack and straw attached. They were a hit. 

I also did the "you are the balm" labels on some fun lip balm for the teachers. 

It was a great day!

Hello!  Happy Saturday. 

What a wonderful day. Supposed to be warm and sunny here so thoughts of spring are going through my mind. 

Before I go into that though, check out my crocheted hearts. Love them!

I found the idea on Pinterest and gave it a try.

I am going to try and make little heart pillows and hang them up for Valentines day. Some other thoughts are valentine garland and valentine heart key chains. Fun fun!

Valentines Day Recap...

Hello!  Happy Friday. I know its been a week since Valentines Day, but I felt I should do a quick recap before I start posting about springy things. Ha Ha. 

We are finally starting to thaw. Things are melting, the rain boots are making an appearance... for puddle stomping you know. And I am already planning on digging out bubbles, sidewalk chalk and kites. Yep, its starting to feel like spring. Oh there will still be plenty of snow storms, but these are the kind that melt fast. I am happy to say the birds are singing and the air smells clean and fresh. 

We are having our besties over today and while the big girls are taking a hip hop dance class (so fun), the rest of us girls are gonna hang out.

Look at this! I found this on my favorite website. 3 guesses which one. 

I love this. I just found a whole bunch of valentines from last year and this is a perfect thing to make with them. 

I think I will get on that right now!

Some Fun and Flowery Valentines Decorations...

 This wreath was actually made years ago, but when I hung it on the door, it sort of looks like a heart, obviously I wasn't paying very good attention to how I glued on the flowers. Ha Ha. 

 Fun twist on the original paper chain. Love this!
