Renegades Trilogy Book Tour and Fan art contest...

In November we took a quick trip to Denver to meet one of Shilohs favorite authors. She entered and was picked as a finalist for the Renegades book Trilogy fan art contest. She was able to meet the author, get her books signed and her art signed. Reagan had so much fun learning about the author and books and I think Marissa Meyer gained a new fan. All in all it was a great experience.

Amazing art, beautiful Spring weather, excellent food. And quality time with my baby who is growing up way to fast.

We had a great carefree weekend at my parents and I wanted to post some cute pics of our visit. Talk about the last lazy days of Summer. Enjoy :)

Memories

Well we survived our family vacation to Disneyland. It was wonderful. The sun, the 60-70 degree weather. We had one day of rain, which I am glad to say, did not stop us. We had 3 days at the two parks, we were able to hit the beach and enjoyed everything we could. Its a bit of a blur now, but we brought back lots of pictures and many momentos of our visit. My oldest was amazed at some of the sights, Las Vegas, Palm Trees and the Ocean. Now... how do we get back there? Oh well. That few days of T Shirts and Sunscreen will get me throught our Spring Storms and mud season. Sunglasses anyone??
