Tea Cart Envy...

Happy Wednesday!

I dont know if I have mentioned it lately, but I am really looking forward to Yard sale season.

One of the items I have on my wish list is a tea cart or bar cart. I do have my rolling cart from Ikea, which I love, but I also want one of these as a table or storage space near my front door. My best friend has one that I have admired for many years and now I really think I want one. Would go nicely in my remodeled front porch, when that happens. Ha Ha. 

Oh well, dream, dream, dream.

Tilda's Fairytale Wonderland...

Hello, happy Thursday!

 

It is cloudy and snowy and I feel like we are in an upside down bowl. No sun coming through our clouds. Perfect day to sit on the couch and watch trashy tv and look at my new book by Tone Finnanger. Tilda's Fairytale Wonderland. I am so excited. I preordered this a few weeks ago and had no idea when it would ship and it just showed up yesterday. Yay!

It has some great ideas in it and right in time with the weather since there are some great Wintery ideas as well.  I cant wait to try some of these cute ideas out in my girls rooms. My favorite is the Princess in the pea. Check it out, its on sale now at

~ Pink and Turquoise ~

Happy Friday! Hope you are kicking off a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend! We are gearing up for lots of garage sales and flea markets and unfortunatly fighting colds. Lately I have been thinking hard about finding some pink or turquoise (or both) pyrex. So pretty in candy colors. Maybe this weekend.

Sweetest Treasure

My daughter purchased a pillow last weekend at our favorite Thrift store. I decided that it was dirty and decided to empty it, wash it and restuff it and when I did, I found this and some other items stuffed in it for filling. I was so happy to see this. It is so cute and will look beautiful on my little one. It must have been a keepsake pillow. I immediatly thought how sad that these treasures ended up in a thrift store. But they will be loved by us. So cute.
