Mysterious Fog...

Hello, Hope your Sunday is bright and sunny. I am happy to say, ours is going great. Just finished cleaning house, now time to sit and catch up on blogging. I havent been the best blogger lately. Probably because I am obsessed with Instagram. It is fun!

But anyways, i wanted to post these pics of the crazy thick fog that rolled in to our yard last night. It was great. It wasnt cold out and you could barely see 10 feet in front of you. The girls wanted to play in it and I let them, but I admit, the thoughts of creatures and zombies came into mind. What will come out of the fog????

Needless to say, they were fine. Ha Ha.

Have a great rest of your weekend.

Wild Raspberries...

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Among the many things we did this weekend, Raspberry picking was the best. We picked enough for Topping waffles last night and this morning. Yummy!

The Rainy Season Is Here

This is what every afternoon looks like... dark... ominous... but at least its cool outside...
I guess we even had funnel clouds above us last night... scary...

Unfortunatly with all this water comes weeds growing like crazy... and since everything is wet and rainy when evening comes... no mowing or weeding... ahhh... help
The one good thing about it is my sunflower plant is flourishing. I planted it last year and cant believe it came back. Beautiful and bright orange.

Need a Clothesline

Well...we had a huge rain storm last night. And I mean Huge. Complete with Thunder, Lightning, Wind, Hail and a down pour. Needless to say, my cute outdoor bed didnt survive. My quilts are all hanging on the fence drying. So... Now I need a clothesline. I am scouring images of clotheslines to get some cute ideas, but I think it will probably just be a simple line. I cant wait.

New Garden Flags and a Peony

I am so excited about my new Garden Flags. I made them out of a polka dot shower curtain and a small embellishment. I love them. They are so simple and cute. Also, I planted my new Peony. I think it might be white, but it is still a mystery. Cant wait to find out.

Afternoon Nap

My Geraniums...

Beautiful Mountain Background Scenery...

Soothing Spot...

I have been looking for an inexpensive hammock for the last few weeks and have had no luck. Everytime I find one they are always sold and I am not paying 200.00 no matter how much I want one, so my husband came up with the idea of using this old Army cot. I covered it wit fun quilts and pillows and its definatly still a work in progress. I am now looking for a feather bed to put on it for fluffiness, but its a really sweet spot to nap while the kids are napping and maybe a good book...
