Hello!

I am so happy to show my newly learned crochet pattern. Corner to corner. I am excited because as a do it yourself crocheter, I have always stuck to line by line crochet. But now that I learned this one, I am very happy to get back into crochet. It is much more entertaining. The possibilities are endless.

We have been busy busy. 

Hubs is getting treatment in Arizona so we have been traveling again. But at least we are closer to Arizona, driving distance. I am much happier. 

Not as happy as I will be when we are all done with this.

Feeling Like Fall

Feels like Fall around here. Doing some coloring. Gonna get some cleaning and decorating done today. Slowly packing away Summer and bringing out Fall.

Now when is Pumpkin spice Lattes coming out at Starbucks... I am ready!

Fresh Veggies, Cooking and Canning... YUM....

Happy Monday!

How is everyone. We are home, going into week 2 of school. Hard to believe we have a 2nd grader and a Middleschooler (7th). One of my closest friends gave us a lot of veggies. So this weekend I cooked homemade spaghetti sauce. No recipe, just cooked it up by taste but it turned out amazing. I also cut up and pickled some refrigerator cucumbers... soooo good. Ready to take on another week. I am really looking forward to Fall. I am itching to get some pumpkins out. I dont think I will make it till September.

Sunset Hair

Good Morning!

Lots to do today. Getting ready on Sunday to fly out to Illinois. Hubby has to have surgery on his Liver and Cancer center is sending us there. So we are off. I just hope to make it back before school starts.

In the meantime, my daughter asked for sunset hair for back to school. I have to admit. It was FUN!

Cleaning...Packing...Sleep...

Hello!

Happy Monday!

We are heading out tomorrow for a short getaway before school starts. Also, Hubby has some medical appointments as well. We have good and happy thoughts heading into these appointments. And who doesnt want to go to Arizona in July. (ugh, 104 degrees). So we are packing up the kids and making a week of it. Time to explore a new place. I am going to need alot of these drinks to keep me cool.

But before we go, maybe a little yummy zuchinni from our sweet sweet neighbors.

Summer Swimming and Lightning

Hello!  Its been sooo long since I posted here. I cant say there has been anything particularly exciting keeping me from posting. Just so many other sites that are quicker. So as much as I hate to say it, I am gonna officially stop blogging. Well at least take a long break!

Springtime Turquoise Porch Goodies

Good Morning...

Just a quick post.

Wanted to share some of my thrifting goodies. 

I found this turquoise bistro set for $50, I was so excited. 

I have been selling and clearing out clutter on the porch and looking for something just like this.
I was sure I was going to have to buy new, but NO!

I found one. 

I also found this cute chandelier, which was a mess. I took off all the extra stuff on it. Clipped all wires, painted it and stuck some battery powered candles on it. Perfect. Just need a bet of a longer chain I think. But for now. Love. it. 

On top of this, I also found a metal chicken feeder. (Decoration for now, useful later when I talk hubby into chickens).  And this fun ceiling tile which also got a fun makeover with turquoise. 

I love spray paint.

American Girl Lea Rainforest Hut DIY

Hello, Happy happy Tuesday.

I am finally catching up on stuff. The weather is wonderful, and I had a wonderful weekend of junking and thrifting. Something that just makes me sooo happy.

Its really nice when you actually feel ahead of the game instead of always trying to catch up.

Onward and upward. 

For now, I just had to share out fun project from this weekend. 

My youngest daughter was super excited to see all the American Girl Lea stuff while visiting the Scottsdale American Girl store a few weeks ago. 

Of course she wanted to buy, but anyone who has been there knows, probably not going to happen. Expensive.
SOOOO, we looked around the house and found some old baskets, and some hula grass and with a little fabric, and hot glue, we made our own.

I love it when a plan comes together.

Hello, Happy April 1st. 

Whew! I cant believe its been a month since I last posted. Where has the time gone. 

I can tell you I have been preoccupied with other sites, like Instagram. I really need to blog more. Soooo

Starting this month, I will definately try harder. (April Fools) Ha ha. 

We will see. 

Until then, enjoy these warm sunny pictures from Arizona. We went there during Spring break and it was just the warm get away we needed. (It has snowed 4 time since we got home) (Boo).
