Everything Halloween in One Day

Hello, Happy Sunday!

I am finally able to sit down. I feel like I am doing everything for Halloween in one day. I have to say, going back to work has been great, fun even. I feel good about it, my kids do not seem lacking in any way, and its nice making money and contributing that way.

The downside... I can not get stuff done. I am not talking about the everyday stuff. I am talking about the fun stuff. And this Halloween has been a huge eye opener. Its so hard to be that mom who always does the fun stuff when I am just plain tired. Those traditions that I hold so dear, are stressful and a chore. I still do them, knowing if I dont, I will regret it. My kids and husband look at me like I am crazy. But I just tell myself, one day, they will appreciate it. 

Ha ha. I know I will always be glad I did it. Have a great week!!

SO very glad we are halfway through the week. 

Having a hard time getting through. No particular reason. Just tired.

Ready for Halloween, trick or treating, finishing up...

and moving into November. I know its a week early, but I am so ready.

Weekend Roadtrip

Just got home a few hours ago from a fun weekend trip to our dear friends house. Great time to do it too. Weather was great. Perfect Fall. I am totally refreshed for next week.

Its a beautiful day! Heading off to work and school. 

I have been drooling over the Harry Potter bedroom decor in the Pottery Barn Teen catalog. So inspiring. Love all the gold. SO many ideas for the future. 

Heading out to see some friends for the weekend. I am so looking forward to the visit. Planning on some Harvest fun!

Saturday Morning Skeletons

Today we are decorating our front porch. We are also heading out to get some pumpkins. So excited! Love this time of year. Our front porch is all about skeletons and spiders. As usual. But there are few projects I would love to try and this mirror is one of them. Love the idea of a skeleton climbing out of the mirror.  Hope your Saturday is full of spooky fun!

SO very proud of my baby girl yesterday! Her classes project was a restaurant yesterday!

As a class they grew, harvested, cooked and served the food. So very exciting for her and her classmates. And the food was delicious!
