Springtime....

Hello! Happy Monday everyone. 

I am thrilled to say, yesterday I saw my first moose of the season. Mom and Yearling. 

It was on the worst busy highway, but I made my husband stop so I could get a picture. As you can see, i am very far away, using my little point and click camera, (I never have my good one when there is something to see, ha ha). But I zoomed in on my camera as best as I could, and then on my computer. 

It was only after I took the first picture, of her looking right at me, that the yearling wandered out of the willows. No wonder she was watching me so carefully. 

Dont worry Momma, i wont hurt you or your baby. 

Thanks for letting me take some pictures.

Big Girls 10th Birthday Party!!!

Happy Monday!

We had an awesome weekend. It kicked off with Bingo for the local Preschool on Friday Night. Both girls were extra lucky. Then a Volleyball game for my oldest daughter, who got the great pleasure of playing with her best friend. Then my parent came into town and along with family here, had a fun fun birthday party. She was very spoiled.

Then we spent Sunday shopping. The only downside is she finally got Daddy to agree to ear piercing and we were unable to make that happen. 

But we will in a week or so.

It was a great weekend.

Hello, happy happy Tuesday!

Hope everyones St. Patricks Day was great. Full of Luck and Rainbows. 

I am busy removing all traces of St. Pattys Decorations and getting ready for my oldest daughters Birthday this coming weekend. (more to come later). 

Lots of cleaning and some decorating. Not to mention an Ice Cream cake to order. Yum!

I am also very excited that I am planning an indoor herb garden. I particularly like the idea of herbs in teacups and am off to check the local thrift stores for cups to use.

A Playhouse....

Hello. Happy Sunday!

I hope it lives up to its name. So far the sun is shining. Yesterday blew in with clouds and snow, which quickly melted, but the chill was still in the air. 

Today, I would like it a bit warmer thank you. 

Ever since my girls found out we would be moving at the end of the summer, they have had a bit of a wish list.
The item on the top of the list has always been a playhouse. But not just any  playhouse. They want one big enough for both of them, with couches, lofts to sleep in, windows, and lots of room to have some of their toys in. Ladders and slides and ziplines and swings attached. Oh yes and tree access from the roof tops. 

An escape from their silly parents, ha ha. 

I admit, I look forward to giving them this wish. A playhouse for them now, a little garden retreat for me later...
