Time Flies When Your Having Fun!

Wow, sorry I haven't posted much. Time is really getting away from me. I long for the lazy slow days of Summer, but I am not sure when those will happen. We have been going and doing and loving every minute. 

Hopefully I can catch up next week. In the meantime, hope your summer is Fabulous!

New pillows...

Hello. I recently got some new pillow covers from Ikea and love them. I am currently obsessed with navy blue and pink. I am really regretting that I did not purchase the very pink duvet cover from them as well as it would have gone well with my new obsession. Everyone in the house, especially the furry characters, love them. I am always finding their fur on my pillows. Oh well.

Strawberry Lemonade

Hello, Happy Tuesday! 

One of my favorite drinks during the hot summer months is Strawberry Lemonade. So easy to make. I just get the frozen Minute maid Lemonade, mix up and add frozen Strawberries. I usually use the unsweetened ones, but bought sweetened this time by mistake. Oops. Oh well the extra sugar tasted good and it turned out great. 

Yummy!

 Festive Paper plates and napkins and starry straws...

 Fun Sparkly decorations and American Flags...

 Stuff to make smores later...

 Lemons for the lemonade....

 Swimming in the pool for hours on end...

 Hot coffee at the end of the day... while sitting with good friends and talking...

so relaxing. 

And a fire to sit by while we wait for the show to start. What a wonderful way to celebrate this beautiful place we call home.

Campfire Comfort...

My husband thinks I am crazy, but for 4th of July, we sat around the campfire in comfort. I decided that the stumps needed pillows. Its the little things that make me happy, what can I say.

Beautiful Peonies in my Garden...

Happy Wednesday!

We are off today for some fun learning about bugs at our National park, then picnic and swimming. Aren't my Peonies beautiful. This is the first time since planting that they are blooming. So pretty.

Swimming Pool Time...

I know it doesn't look like much yet, but soon it will be full of water, and splashing children and good summertime wet fun. 

I love filling up our pool.
