A Little Tilda Organizing....

Today I am organizing some of my Tilda cutouts. I have cut so many and put them in many different places that I though I should organize them. I saw a blog where she had hers in these plastic protectors and decided that would work great. I also cut out a few more to add to it. 

I love the Tilda products and just organizing them like this makes me smile.

Fun Weekend Activity..

 Hello, happy Tuesday. We have been very busy cleaning out and trying to get rid of some clutter around the house. Spring isn't quite here yet and the yard is full of snow, but Spring cleaning is in the works. I decided to have small yard sales on the internet auction sites. So clearing out we are. I did take some time this weekend to help the girls with a little project. We thought it would be fun to "bling out" some shirts we bought at the craft store. They both loved the idea of fringing the bottoms of the shirts. It was lots of fun.

Tilda's Fairytale Wonderland...

Hello, happy Thursday!

 

It is cloudy and snowy and I feel like we are in an upside down bowl. No sun coming through our clouds. Perfect day to sit on the couch and watch trashy tv and look at my new book by Tone Finnanger. Tilda's Fairytale Wonderland. I am so excited. I preordered this a few weeks ago and had no idea when it would ship and it just showed up yesterday. Yay!

It has some great ideas in it and right in time with the weather since there are some great Wintery ideas as well.  I cant wait to try some of these cute ideas out in my girls rooms. My favorite is the Princess in the pea. Check it out, its on sale now at

Cute Summer Shoes....

I love these cute summer shoe ideas. I have to admit, I went ahead and bought the flat toms. The wedge ones are to die for but I am not very graceful so the flats are perfect. They are actually a collaboration with Shabby Chic Rachel Ashewell. LOVE them.

Sale Flowers...

I love flowers as much as the next girl, but I really love a bargain more. These are my after Valentines Day Bargain flowers that I got on Saturday. Love them.

And I have to admit, I am not as sad when they die. 

However, this time around, my allergies are really kicking up. Not sure what is doing it, but its killing me.

Happy Monday! Hubby is off today and we have some time just us since the kiddos are at school.  It's amazing how quiet the house is.

Bling Jeans...

I don't know if it is spring fever or what, but I am loving these blingy jeans I am seeing everywhere. My girls love anything sparkly and I think its rubbin' off on me. 

 Plus I have a new favorite guilty obsession, Gypsy Sisters. Loving that show. And they are all about the sparkle. 

Now if my butt just looked as good as the ones in the top pictures. 

(And I had to include the little girls as well because I know my girls would love these as well).

Good Morning Monday

Hello. Hope everyone had a great weekend. I am exhausted. We worked at a my husbands grandmothers house this weekend, trying to get it ready for sale. We are still not done. Especially since most of Saturday was spent removing snow so that the house was accessible. Then Sunday was just a jumble of clearing out trash. Then I also had to catch up on chores around the house which were then aggrevated by the kids going behind me and messing things up. So anyway, now I am enjoying my solitude while they are at school. Yay!

I am allowing myself the tiniest bit of coffee creamer and a heart cake as  a treat. I am trying to eat as little sugar as possible right now. Trying to slim down. Trying but barely succeeding. I made some low sugar cookies this weekend. They were "interesting". Needless to say I think going without might be better than trying to improvise. 

Oh well, hope your Monday is as calming as I hope mine is.

Skating Party Ideas...

Sorry for the lack of posts. My thoughts and time have been consumed with daily household chores and trying to plan an upcomming birthday party. We have been trying to play outside more and have been gone most of the weekends. That leaves me a small window during the week to catch up with everyday household while I juggle school, kids, holidays and volunteering. Needless to say my thoughts right now are all on a skating party. I am so excited, probably more than my 8 year old. Oh well.

Rollerskating....

Hello, happy Sunday. Just a quick hello. I am trying to feed everyone before we head of to the Y for some rollerskating and hopefully cross country skiing. My oldest daughter is obsessed with skating. I love it. I was really into it as a kid and I think its really cool that she is now too. So much so that now she wants a roller skating birthday party. So cool. I hope it works out. I think I need some fancy skates though. I love these from Pinterest.

Yummy New Obsession....

Hello, happy Friday. Just thought I would post about my new yummy food obsession. Humus. I never thought much about it but it was on sale last weekend at the grocery store so I thought I would try it. I now love it. Especially with cucumbers dipped in it. The plain one is not my fav but I am loving the red pepper one. Here are some other humus pics that look good. However I am not able to get the recipes because the sites dont exist or are in another language. I am very interested in trying the pea one. 

Today we are dancing and catching up. We are hoping to head off to the big city tomorrow for some family time.
