Happy Monday... Hope everyone had a great weekend.  I have been repainting my entire dining and kitchen area. And now I am done. Now to eliminate all the clutter I created while cleaning out corners and cabinets. 

My new kitchen color is Faraway Blue. And I love it. I will post pics when I am completely done. I need to make some curtains. 

Right now I am loving paper straws. I purchased some and used them for my big girls Birthday party. They are sooo fun. I am going to get more and I especially love the red white and blue ones for the 4th of July.

Summer Bling

Loving my new Bling for this year! The brown sandals are by Justin. Love them. 

In fact, they are my second pair. Then for by the pool, my awesome white and pink sandals which I am happy to say I created. The sandals were 4.99 at Wal-mart and the pin on flowers were 2.99 each. I made sure to also get some white ones incase I wanted a change. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

Fun Springtime Finds...

I have had so much fun this year... so far... finding cute items for Spring. A few weeks ago I went to Ikea (LOVE) and found these sweet pink rose towels and bread basket. I am using the bread basket to hold paper plates instead of bread, but it works great. Their towel are wonderful for a table cloth or for using as actual towels. Love them.  The white cups are from Ikea as well, but I scored them at a garage sale. Love a bargain. 

Lastly the cute Mary Tins I found at the dollar section at Target. My most favorite spot of the store. Super cute, I think I will use them in my craft room for pins and buttons.

I have been doing some spring cleaning and reorganizing around the house lately and one of the things that I added is a new shower curtain... Rachel Ashwell ofcourse!

I was able to get two of the cherry blossom printed ones at Target this week, on clearance (yay) and used one for a Shower curtain and onother for the window in my bedroom. I also repurposed a bench for a reading corner in my room.  (Can you see which books are my favorites?)

~ Spring Pinwheels ~

Last Friday, a good friend came over and we made some cute pinwheels out of Tilda paper. So cute. I now have pinwheels all over the house. Love them. Hope you are having a  wonderful Wednesday!

More Blue and Brown Kitchen Lovliness...

As I am adding things to my wish list for my Kitchen redo... I love this blue polka dot by Cath Kidston for curtains... and the brown and blue would be great to put in the adjoining dining room. So many lovely options.

Kitchen Inspiration...

Hello, hope everyone is having a great Monday. I am. I decided to start a new healthy diet, and am happily planning my new kitchen makeover. Nothing expensive and grand, but new paint and some fixtures. I am hoping to incorporate lots of Cath Kidston and other lovely designers. I am super excited about the vigga line by Greengate. So excited that I just purchased this tin set and am using it as my inspiration for the kitchen. I can't wait. Now to just wait for it to be delivered from the UK. Right now its snowing and I need to do laundry, so bye for now.

~ Tulips ~

Happy Wednesday! Had to post pics of the beautiful Tulips that I got at the store yesterday. Wish I had some blooming outside, must be sure to plant bulbs this fall. Love them. Just wish they would last longer. Hope your having a great day!

Rusty Vintage

I love rusty vintage finds. We have had a very unexpected early Spring and with it comes the need to go to Garage sales. Last weekend while cleaning up outside, I came across some of my rusty finds from last year. I am anxious to make something with these old bed springs and found some great ideas online. I realize I am probably last to admit this but I LOVE PINTEREST. I do not know what took me so long to find it, but it is wonderful. I also want to make some stuff with chicken wire and paint some furniture turquoise. I love Spring...
