My friend and I got together on Friday to make this cute Springy Wreath. It was alot of fun. We originally got the idea from a picture in the PotteryBarn Kids Catalog. So Cute. Just a wreath, ribbon, flowers and hot glue.

Sweets
A few years ago, my husband decided to get serious about his health and lost over 130 pounds. Together we started eating healthier and getting more excersize. I lost over 40 just by watching food, so we usually try to limit our candy eating. However, it never fails that when Valentines day comes along, I really miss those heart shaped boxes of chocolate. So this year, when we went to Walmart the day after Valentines Day, I couldnt resist that heart box. We shared it and the kids had some, but it was just the right size. Now I have to admit, I picked this one because of the box, I am anxious to reuse it in some way. So cute.

Chicken...Corn...Rice...Love
While my poor sick Husband was plowing snow, I decided it would be a good day for a big pot of Chicken soup. We have all been sick ever since we got home from out Vacation. Sore Throats and Coughing and Sniffles got the best of us. But we are on the mend. Nothing some warm soup, a few blankets and hot tea wont cure.
Sweetest Treasure
My daughter purchased a pillow last weekend at our favorite Thrift store. I decided that it was dirty and decided to empty it, wash it and restuff it and when I did, I found this and some other items stuffed in it for filling. I was so happy to see this. It is so cute and will look beautiful on my little one. It must have been a keepsake pillow. I immediatly thought how sad that these treasures ended up in a thrift store. But they will be loved by us. So cute.
Winter Blanket
We finally got a huge blanket of snow. This Winter has toyed with us for the whole season. Everyone around us kept getting snow, but we just had enough to make it icy and cold. Finally we have enough to go sledding or make a snowman...something we do every year and that gets bigger every time. Maybe we have some fun times left before the Spring Thaw.

Spring Projects
Now that our vacation is over and we are back to normal, I have been thinking some big changes are in order. I am currently planning an attack on my cluttered/catchall of a den. It has a good shape and an open window to the family room, but tends to catch everything that doesnt have a home. I have decided to sell all those homeless items and turn it into a Craft Room /Office. I am very excited and have already obtained two desks, one for crafting and one for computers. And am envisioning a Shabby Chic decor. I also obtained a King Size Sleigh Bed and am getting ready to turn our Master into a sanctuary rather than the cluttered Bedroom/Craft room that it is. Be sure to check back as I will be posting pictures of my progress. Hopefully it all turns out as I plan.
New Treasures
My favorite thrift store always has a 50% off sale on Holidays, so on Presidents day, I braved the craziness and found some great treasures. I love this teacup holder. (at least thats what I think it is). It is perfect for holding teacups, or cupcakes, (ooh idea for daughters birthday), or whatever. So cute. I also found these cute little vase fillers that are adorable dangling from different areas. I cant wait to see what else I can add them to.

Memories
Well we survived our family vacation to Disneyland. It was wonderful. The sun, the 60-70 degree weather. We had one day of rain, which I am glad to say, did not stop us. We had 3 days at the two parks, we were able to hit the beach and enjoyed everything we could. Its a bit of a blur now, but we brought back lots of pictures and many momentos of our visit. My oldest was amazed at some of the sights, Las Vegas, Palm Trees and the Ocean. Now... how do we get back there? Oh well. That few days of T Shirts and Sunscreen will get me throught our Spring Storms and mud season. Sunglasses anyone??
