A few weeks ago, the girls and I headed to the "Big City" to run errands and we made a special stop at the new American Girl store. My oldest has recently become interested in these dolls and had some garage sale earnings burning a hole in her pocket. So we stopped and it was lots of fun. The first time we went it was insane in there. No where to walk or even stand. This time we got there as soon as they opened and basically had the place to ourselves. I normally try to buy the kids toys second hand, but we havent had much luck finding American Girl stuff that way yet, so it was fun to doit this way. Hopefully we can do this every few months, its become a special way for the both of us to do something alittle more grown up and its something that her baby sister isnt quite into yet, its all hers...for now...
