Winter Wonderland

Today was a wonderful wonderland. Lots of snow, playtime, and more. 2 more days till Christmas. Yay!

Good morning! The sun is out and so is school. The girls and I slept in. We are gonna do their favorite thing today... clean!  Ha ha. Well its not a favorite but it is necessary!  Hope your day is great.

A Not-So-Naughty Elf on the Shelf

Hello, Happy Saturday!

I am so happy the weekend is here. It has been a busy week. Full of ups and downs. I added a new title to my name yesterday. Substitute teacher. I have to say, I never thought that would be something I would do. But I feel such a huge accomplishment by stepping out of my comfort bubble.

There is so much possibility in the future.

In the meantime, our elf has not been naughty at all..

Should probably get on that. Ha ha.

Beautiful Trees

Happy Saturday!

I am soo glad the weekend is here. 

It was our first week back from Thanksgiving and it was a busy one. 

Cleaning up, decorating for the Holiday season, PTA meeting, Christmas shopping, Volunteering at school all day Friday and then working at our Family Craft night Friday night. 

Now for finishing our decorating, (Outdoor Christmas lights), and putting all the containers away. Now I can focus on enjoying the season.

Ha ha. 

I was looking through my pinterest pins, not to mention, my own decor around the house, and I realized, I have alot of trees. I admit, once we build a bigger house, I would love a few more, maybe one in every room. (Yes I am that person). So todays post is all about trees. 

I love all the ones I have found on the web.

Such great ideas. 

I am off today to find a few Craft fairs.

Christmas Photo Gift Ideas

I am loving these silhouette ideas.

This is something I am hoping to do this Holiday season.

Everytime I see these I want to try it. I am going to go through the huge amount of duplicate pics I have first, then take some current ones. I am hoping to find one for each age. Wish I would have thought of it sooner. Oh well.

Peppermint Bark...YUM!

Good Morning!

Busy day here. Off to the school for a PTA meeting. 

Had to post my yummy, favorite Christmas goodie. 

I love peppermint bark. 

It is so easy. And pretty much just chocolate topped with peppermint, but I couldn't have Christmas without it. 

Its super easy.

Line a cookie sheet with wax paper. 

Melt two bags of semi sweet chocolate chips in microwave, 

spread on sheet. 

Refrigerate until hard.

Melt white chocolate (2 bags), 

spread on hardened dark chocoate, 

sprinkle with peppermint pieces, 

refrigerate until hard.

Break into pieces and store in tin or jar, in refrigerator for best results.

YUM!
