Halloween Recap....

Hello. Happy Tuedsay, November 5th. I know Halloween is over, but I had to post a follow up. Our Halloween was wonderful. Busy, but wonderful. It was full of parties, costume contests and trick or treating. My girls really outdid themselves this year, even coming home with a ice cream cake from their very thoughtful uncle. Oh my!!

My Werewolf and Zombie made out like bandits. 

What  a fun year.

Banana Ghosts

What do you get when you take a bunch of bananas, orange juice, chocolate chips and a spooky spider plate...

A fun bunch of Banana ghosts for Halloween parties. 

Both of my girls requested Banana ghosts for their parties this year. 

They turned out great... just cut in half, dip in orange juice to keep from browning, add eyes and mouth and done. So easy...

...but not so great to transport. 

Very slippery. 

Still a great snack.

Freezing Apples...

Today I am working hard to get our yard ready for winter. There is a big storm coming. I also worked at getting apples peeled, cut, and frozen. My mom recently brought me two cases of lovely apples and I am determined not to let any go to waste. 

Love them...

I have lots of recipes in store for these yummy treats!

Aspen Trees...

Hello! Happy Thursday. Just taking a quick break before heading back to school. I thought I would post some pictures from our Fall Family outing last weekend. We took a drive up into our local hills and got these great pictures of the huge aspen trees. I was so excited since that was exactly what I was hoping for.

Fun Fall Or Winter Photo's... What to do....

Hello, Happy Wednesday!  I am sitting here, wondering what mother nature has in store for us. Every year, we have a standing tradition. We meet up with our bestest friends, take lots of fun fall inspired golden leafed photos, and have a wonderful day of frolicking in the leaves and admiring the firey colors around us. This year, because of scheduling conflicts and SNOW... we keep delaying. The leaves are changing and now falling, and I am wondering if our tradition might have to be more of a Winter picture day. I am determined to do it this Friday, although the weather man says I might have more white than gold in my future. 

Pinterest has some wonderful ideas, however, for those changes. 

Either way, I am determined to have a wonderful, traditional day with my Girls.

Cute Little End Table Re-do

Hello. How is your Thursday. My week has been busy, we are off to volunteer at school. Monday, on the cold morning. I decided to re-do this little table as an end table. It is a little big for it, but was a fun project. Might actually make a cute coffee table. Don't know. Fun anyways.

Winter Weather.... around the corner...

Hello, happy Wednesday!

This is what we woke up to on Monday morning. Brrr. Winter is around the corner. You cant see it very well, but there is snow dusting the hills around us. 

We've had below freezing mornings ever since. 

The leaves will surely start to turn and fall soon.

Caramel Apples....Great fall activity!

Last week we had our bestest friends over for a fun visit and we made Caramel apples. It was sticky fun.  I didn't get any good eatin pictures, but I think everyone had a good time.
