I am so happy to say I finally got my fire pit. Hubby dug it this weekend and we cooked out on it Sunday. It was a blast. I wanted it earlier this summer, but with the fire danger and fire bans, it just wasnt going to happen. Now we have had lots of monsoonal weather and it was time. We were able to build it without any cost, thanks to family who gave us brick, and our own hard work. I couldn't be happier. I look forward to many fun cookouts this summer and fall. Maybe even winter. Now wouldn't that be fun.
