Pumpkins and Spiders...

Welcome Halloween!  The decorating and pumpkin gathering has begun . Our awesome.e neighbors grew us 4 great pumpkins. And then the girls got two more at the pumpkin patch. We will add a few more this weekend when we go to the patch with friends. Whew! But I have to say, I love them. I really can't wait till we grow our own next year.
Have a great day!!!

Happy Spooky Monday...

Happy Monday!!!
Things are slowing down finally.
Weather is cooling and I can feel myself settling down into hibernation mode.
I made this awesome wreath this weekend. Still needs a small banner I think. But I am happy with it.
Hope your day is spooky-happy!

Pee-wee Cheerleading Camp...

Hello!
Happy happy Monday!
We had a great weekend.  Starting with baby girl following in big sisters footsteps.
Last week she had cheer camp with the high school cheerleaders and got to perform at the game.  It was the pink out game in support of breast cancer awareness.

She was so happy, and big sis was so excited that she got to watch and cheer for her!
Have an awesome day!!!

The Wooden Soldier...

Good Morning...
Happy Thursday!

Yes I know its Fall, and don't get me wrong, I LOVE it.
But yesterday I started working on Christmas cards, which led to thinking which picture I would use in the card, which led to thoughts of taking a great picture, which of course led to the outfits.

I am debating using fun camo hoodies for both my girls. Casual and Fall fun.
...but....

then I think I should go all out and have them be fabulous.

I will probably do both, because that is just me.
I love love love The Wooden Soldier and their holiday looks.
Check it out!

Have a great day!

Here are some great ideas.
I will be sure to post my progress...

Cards have never been my strong suit.

Crockpot Love...

Hello!
Happy Tuesday...

We have a busy week. Cheer practice is in full swing for both of my girls. Baby sister is doing a week long cheer camp with the Highschool Cheerleaders.
She will be performing on Friday night. She is super excited.

So that means hanging out after school. All week long. Ugh.
Bring on the crock pot.
Check out this great recipe I am definately trying this week.
YUM

SLOW COOKER CHEESY BACON RANCH POTATOES
Prep Time15 minutes
Cook Time8 hours, 15 minutes
Total Time8 hours, 30 minutes
Yield8 servings
The easiest potatoes you can make right in the crockpot - perfectly tender, flavorful and cheesy!
INGREDIENTS
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 3 pounds red potatoes, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 tablespoon Ranch Seasoning and Salad Dressing Mix
  • 2 tablespoons chopped chives
INSTRUCTIONS
  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  • Spread bacon in a single layer onto the prepared baking sheet. Place into oven and bake until brown and crispy, about 12-14 minutes. Let cool before crumbling; set aside.
  • Line a slow cooker with aluminum foil, leaving enough to overhang to wrap the potatoes on top, and coat with nonstick spray. Place a layer of potatoes evenly into the slow cooker. Top with cheese, Ranch Seasoning and bacon, repeating 2 more times and reserving 1/2 cup cheese.
  • Cover potatoes with aluminum foil and cook on low heat for 7-8 hours or high heat for 3-4 hours. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese. Cover and cook until melted, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with chives.
