Sunday Wish List...

I am so happy. We are getting so much accomplished. But I have to say, I am still dreaming of adding a few items to our new space. I love this set. My dad is building me a train car coffee table and I think it will go great with these pieces from Walmart. 

I know it might take a while to get them, but I am definately ordering the TV stand first.

Birthday Goodies...

Hello, Happy Saturday.

We are in packing mode, but I had to take a moment to post about my birthday goodies. I am late posting since we have been soo busy, but I needed to recognize my best friend for the fabulous goodies. The flowers were wonderful and her beautiful daughter made me the best card. 

They always know how to spoil me just right. 

I am blessed.

A Good Start...

  

Of Course I had to bring the Cath Kidston and the Greengate.

Oh, and dont forget the Tilda Curtains.

 This house is only about 900 sqft, but it has way more storage than my 1400 sqft house. Go figure. 

 Not to mention the Ikea curtains.

I have to admit, this small space is my Ikea dream come true. I am going crazy through the catalog, looking for ideas. 

Its nothing fancy, but I admit, its starting to feel like home.

After going down and fluffing our new nest, I have to say, I am more and more excited. I am also alot more motivated to get rid of stuff. 

So let the yard sale begin.

I think its time to start fresh.

The Girls' Room...

Well the girls had a great time picking out fun new bedding. The only thing there at the moment is their mattresses, but new curtains and a really fluffy rug was added too.

They had a blast.

Busy Busy Weekend...

Hello, happy happy Wednesday!

We are home after a very fun, but very exhausting weekend. We headed down to our new place for the weekend and did some work to make it homey. 

My parents worked really hard over the winter replacing carpet and painting every nook and cranny. It was full full full of the old 70's paneling and now its all white. White walls, white cabinets, etc. 

We went in and purchased rugs, chairs and painted lots of accents black. 

I LOVE IT. 

I am already envisioning fun decorating. 

Plus, I have to say I am so proud of the fact that I painted the trim and chandelier myself. So fun. 

There will be more to come tomorrow. 

I am tired just thinking about it all.

Happy 4th Of July...

The weirdest thing happened yesterday... blogger deleted my site for spam...

odd. 

So I emailed them and filed a dispute against it, and 

this morning it was back. 

So  so weird. But I am glad its up again.

I have lots of fun stuff to post in the next week, but right now I am getting ready for a fire in the pit and some smores. (We will just call that dinner tonight...)
